Singing brings joy to everyone even the people who don’t particuarly care for music. I, of course, cannot sing in tune. However, my daughter and granddaughter have lovely singing voices. There is a Facebook reel that is on frequently. I think it originates at an airport in Australia. There is a piano near an escalator. I frequently see people walking back and forth with luggage or shopping as there are many stores located there. Sometimes a person will simply sit down and play the piano and then a person with a violin or guitar will walk by and begin playing with him or her. One of my favorite reels includes a young boy whom I believe is around ten years old. His mum asked the piano player if he could play ‘Hallelujah.’ Once he began she made her son go to the piano and start singing. His voice is unbelievably beautiful. It is truly amazing and suddenly a huge crowd developed. A young woman joinsed in on the other side of the piano in the chorus with a lovely voice. She then moved to the other side and they held hands and hugged in the end. The whole crowd cheered as it was so grand. When I was young, singing was everything. As a young girl and teen I loved the groups and singers who had really good voices. To this day one of my favorite groups is the Beach Boys. I actually saw them once in San Diego, California and I was overwhelmed and thrilled. Mike Love really had an outstanding voice. I also saw Fats Domino in Texas and he was fabulous.
