There is a new game in town with auto insurance. In various states they are claiming low numbers. However when you check the ads, it is always a lie. It is much more than their offers. In some states people have lost their auto insurance. Las Vegas auto insurance is more than two mortgage payments and a car payment.In Texas they advertise all the time with these rates: $19 and $39. However, the minute you click on it, the numbers completely change right into the four hundreds. This includes people who have a clean driving record including no accidents. I Think that the constant lying is getting it to be too much. It is not just Texas, though. If you try other states, it is exactly the same. At one time in life it was reasonable. Now it is outrageous. I was rearended in 2019 while waiting at a light. The case should have been settled in Nevada, but the woman who hit me had insurance in Arizona. That limited the claim to a flat twenty-five thousand dollars. It was wrong and completely unfair. In my past I have been hit by drunk drivers. I never ended up with a fair amount. Now that the profits are rising for insurance companies, the settle amounts are decreasing. Please don’t misunderstand me. I believe in profits. I also believe in being fair.
