Sore Loser

It seems on social media, there are often frequent articles about people who are sore losers. Their goal is to get even which shouldn’t be the case. If you lose, then accept it and move on. In the legal field I have seen this countless times. For example, we had a client who felt he deserved his mother’s home. His broher who was disabled had to be placed in a home. The mother very specifically, in her living trust, left both sons fifty percent each. The son who was healthy felt that this was unfair and became a sore loser. In addition, his disabled brother had two sons who had served time primarily for drug abuse. He decided that the home was to be his and that is exactly what he set out to do. He convinced his brother that he should go to a home and then ordered a special needs trust from his mother’s estate to pay his expenses. Then in order to cut the two sons out, he included a section that whatever money was left when he passed would return to him. In the meantime, how I do not know, the home was switched to him and his wife in a new living trust. Now he is trying to cover his tracks, but we can’t do anything. People make choices and when you play with the law they often cannot be erased. So as a sore loser he figured out how to win. Of course, Karma may pay a visit to him. Do you know anyone who is a sore loser that just keeps on fighting so that they win, even if only temporarily? In the Good Gus series no one was a sore loser. It would have been a bad example for the young reader. The next book I will work on will be “Lightning Strikes Pecos.” It is exciting with underlying exaples of kindness at the same time. I look forward to having it illustrated in the near future. “Misplaced Trust” has many more examples of certain behavior by heirs. This was a recent one.
