When bribes come to the surface everyone gets upset. Didn’t it ever occur to them their success wasn’t that simple? Look at United Healthcare. They have been in the news continually due to bribes. How many of the medical compaies have been caught giving bribes to get medicines approved that should not be even remotely on the market? Bribes are primarily about money. In movies people bribe others or face brutal consequences. Then there are the reels where doctors are even bribed to change DNA and medical reports. It almost seems like everything is available for a price. In “Gerogie and Mandy’s First Marriage,” the meemaw uses bribes on an everyday occurance. It seems innocent enough but it is still cheating in a certain way. We all constatantly read about elections in the United States and how the ballots are played with and no matter how you look at it someone somewhere is bribed. Years ago it was quite prevalent. Today, however, it has been reduced but as you can see in the news not very much. I think people and things should be based on merit not money to change the rules, items or conditions, don’t you agree? In the Good Gus series there were no bribes. The books have good values for the children to follow. They are readily available both online and in cardboard. “Misplaced Trust”, I was told yesterday, by a future reader, looked very interesting. It is easily downloadable. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
