Self absorbed people are not anyone’s favorite. They can only be bothered with us if they need something. We all probably have family members like that. When this happens I generally don’t want to help but will if they really need it. They are the people who believe that if you wear the right clothes, designer preferred and come from the right family, they want to be your acquiantace. They can never be called friend. However, they prefer to associate with you only if they consider you to be upper level. One of the personality traits I do dislike in self absorbed people is that no matter what the conversation is they manage to turn it around to them. They tend to dominate the conversation. What is the point of even talking to them? Of course, they love to tell you if you are wrong and give you advice. They appear to know everything when in reality, they do not. One of the traits self absorbed people have is that they never ask you about yourself during any conversation. Furthermore, they always believe that the rules simply do not apply to them. This is how many of them land in trouble or even jail. They believe they are exempt and can get out of anything. For me, they are individuals I do know want to know. How about you? In the Good Gus series, no one is self absorbed. Everyone is busy helping each other.
