Weddings

Weddings can be expensive or they can be small, intimate and affordable. Mine was exactly that many moons ago. Lately, though, there are constant articles about weddings. Most of them are fairly large. However, the point is that there seems to be many insults included in these events. Today, for example, a mother-in-law wore all black and cried through the entire wedding. Truthfully, she should have stayed home. Then there are the mother-in-laws who wear a white gown and veil. That is seriously offensive. They should be happy that their sons found a woman that they love. I wore a gold brocade dress to my son’s wedding. Let’s not forget the mother-in-laws who stand up and object. There are also the women who make a scene arriving late. How can they say they really love their sons if they do any of these things? Then there are the bridezillas. One of them was furious that a true ginger or red head refused to die her hair brown like all the other bridesmaids who followed her request. These women also decide to hurt family members and not invite them. Lately, the newest strategy is to demand money from the guests. No thank you. I would pass, wouldn’t you? There are no weddings in the Good Gus series. There isn’t even dating. The stories give positive ideas to the young reader. The series is available in paperback or e-book form. “Misplaced Trust” has no weddings. The Successor Trustee in many of the chapters is too busy cheating and stealing. Their methods are cunning. It is easily available in e-book form. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment. Now available audio and videos for the Good Gus series on YouTube! Digitizing for all the books are available now on YouTube! “Misplaced Trust” is now available on Amazon in e-book form.
