It is happening again, revenge quitters. They are the workers who are fed up with low wages, poor treatment, and unrealistic expectations that the employees go above and beyond. There was an article today about a young man who quit with a blaze of glory thirteen years ago. He was fed up with minimum wage, hired a small marching band, that played music with a song stating he was quitting. Today this video has gone viral with over ten million viewers. In July a Father Pat Brennan resigned and he flat out let the parishioners know he was fed up. He used a poem for his resignation quoting that they were, “Disgruntled, unlikable” parishioners who spread “gossip” from their “holy lips”. I think one of the worst part of many churches is that gossip is quite prevalent. They can call it wrong or a sin but people do it anyways. A survey from 2008 was just relased from the UK stating that at least fiften percent of employees had revenge quit. It is apparently on the rise again. There is an American who lives in Japan who revenge quit in a class he was two hours away from completing. They had a new teacher and if you finished one minute early or late the students would be repremanded. Mind you these are not teenagers but actual adults. That is ridiculous.
