Have you ever known anyone that would just go on and not get to the point? Many of the ads are that way. They will state just four minutes and in reality it is more like twenty. I have tried it a few times and couldn’t get past five minutes. Naturally, at the end, they don’t allow you to reach it quickly, is a price that is out of sight. I have always been a person who hated meetings. They go on so long. People argue, disagree or just talk sort of about the topic but sometimes not at all. I would rather open the discussion, get to the point and then either make a decision or try again another day. My late husband loved meetings. I always told him I was too busy but that if he really needed me, seek me out towards the end and I would render my opinion. There are many people who dance around a topic without really saying anything. Most people, including myself, find an excuse to leave. What is worse is that often the topics are boring. Stop and think about all the spam calls you receive on a daily basis that do not get to the point. I generally receive about ten a day and even early in the morning. I don’t pass out my number so I have no idea how they obtain it and then harass me. Does this happen to you? There were town meetings in the Good Gus series.
