Demanding

Most older people are demanding. They are used to having their own way. When their lives change they have difficulty accepting it. Learning to change is not easy for them. They have worked their whole lives and now they have to make changes that they don’t want. Eventually they do but it makes others uneasy. I believe this is the reason they end up in hospitals or special care. We all want to be independent and when it stops nothing goes well.  There are also demanding people who grew up well to do. Then, suddenly  their adjustment is a completely new experience. How do they adjust? We all have to make changes in life. The answer is simply how. Take a look at the women in the book  whose son’s takes everything from them. How do they cope? They have an exceeding number of problems. That is part of what “Misplaced Trust” is about. They think at first everything will be fine. Then they realize it is not. The son took everything and left her with nothing. She has so clue how to handle things now that they are paying for a home, a car, can’t cash out gold ingots which are now earning towards a much higher amount. I think the reason they are so demanding is that they expect to have something to cash and but it is gone. What do you think? This type of behavior did not exist in the Good Gus series. The books offer good stories and morals in e-book and paperback. Of course, In “Misplaced Trust” this typle of behavior is in may chapters in many chapters in e-book form. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
