Peace

It is very dificut to make peace with one’s past. Sometimes a person is hurt so badly that they end up breaking down over it and needing therapy. There were a few articles about just that today. One was about a boy who dreaded school breaks. Even though it is fifty-six years later he can still remember and hates his memories of his father beating his mother. Sadly  today women are still beaten and it takes a great deall of strength to leave the men. Their fears overwhelm them which is one of the reasons.  They also may lack the belief in themselves or even the ability to obtain a job. Plus now that the government  is unavailable to interveine, what can they do? Many families never obtain peace. They often believe in a paricular child more than any other. That leads to fights and arguments. There is also the parent versus the husband or wife. They may favor one over the other which leads to trouble. The mothers who believe that whomever the husband prefers is not good enough or has the attitude that their way is the best way and the mate’s is not. This includes parents siding with a husband or wife during issues and even divorce. Peace should be obtained and at least a decent attitude towards each other primarily for the children. I just saw on a TV show yesterday that it is not always easy, what do you think? In the Good Gus series, Liam is left behind at an orphanage right before Christmas. What do you think happened? It is the  story the ” Special Gift”  and if your child reads the story, it will be loved in e-book or paperback. If a character in “Misplaced Trust” was hoping for peace it was the wrong wish. Check it out in e-book. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
