I saw an article about woman who had a poor attitude. You can understand part of her reason as her son was in need of a kidney. However, she was nasty to a cleaning woman in the hospital because she was kind to her son. She told the cleaning woman that her son was sick and she should keep her filthy self away from him. The doctor called the rude woman into his office and said her son had less than a month to live if he didn’t receive a transplant. She was devastated and went home to post ads and look for assistance. A few days later, the doctor called the poor attitude woman and told her to bring her son to the hospital immediately. She went immediately and her son went into surgery. The poor attitude paced and waited for the results. They were a success. She was thrilled. She asked how did they find someone as she had been working and looking at all possibilities. The doctor then told her it was the cleaning woman who made the donation. The poor attitude went looking for her to thank her. She asked why did she help since she treated her so badly. The truth was she had lost her son as she couldn’t find a matching donor and she wanted to help. The poor attitude changed her feelings towards her and said her husband was an executive and could help her get a better job. She declined because she could help others while at the hospital. Do you think that bad attitude changed permanently? In the Good Gus series, even though Katie was in a wheelchair, she was treated with kindness and respect.
