Why is social media full of people criticizing others? It doesn’t matter anymore. It can be families criticizing each other, children criticizing parents and vice versa, celebrities, politicians, etc. Aren’t you sick of it? Why can’t we read actual news rather than what other people did, wore, said, etc. The news used to consist of actual facts. Events that occurred not what someone said that probably should not have said at all. The constant criticizism is mentally exhausting. When I was young, the newspaper had what was called current events. It wasn’t what someone wore to an event, the nasty words they said about another person particularly if they passed, a woman’s mascetomy, who is eating with whom for Christmas and so much more. We had to do work for school . That meant if Russa attacked another country, the world knew. Now there are partnerships bewteen other countries that are barely discussed. It is possible that the smaller countries are being taken under the wing of a larger more powerful country. Being European, I follow the news everyday. They are interested in peace, working with the environment and not against it, helping others, doing the right thing, etc. Sure they have problems, absolutely. However, they don’t whine about it, put pressure on others but rather in general try to solve their issues. If only other countries would follow don’t you agree? There was very little criticizing in the Good Gus series. The books are a positivity which lingers with the young reader. Try it out in e-book. You will like it as much as the child.
