No one ever gets married with the idea of divorce. They believe they will live happily ever after but sadly many of them don’t. Sometimes if one person goes on a trip for work or to assist a family member it gives them the realization that their life is so much better without them. I had a family member who never realized until after she was married that her husband was a raging alcoholic. Needless to say it didn’t last long. It was so short it was annulled. There are many partners that have no respect primarily for the women. They treated them as if they were property. I find that extremely difficult to accept. There are men who decided after the fact that they didn’t want their wives. What is worse is that the man brought the new woman in to their home and told the wife she should just hurry up and move out. Very tough as I have known this happen to a woman. In her case the mistress just stayed there with the family and made the wife’s life asolutely miserable. One of the worse relationship foul ups was when the man used the woman to work and pay for his schooling and then when he finished he was also finished with her. Many times divorce is necessary but the treatment is just not fair, don’t you agree? In the Good Gus series there were single individuals and married couples. The books are a good read in e-book.
