Why do famous people feel it is acceptable to commit crimes? I used to live in Las Vegas and there were sports figures who felt it absolutely acceptable the hit others with their cars, start fights that severely injured individuals, and even commit murder. Just today there was a famous sports figure that killed a person. There is so much crime now that it is becoming more and more difficult to cope with. The crime in Dublin, Ireland has risen dramatically. It used to be safe to walk along the sidewalks and now I wouldn’t dare. One time I was in front of a large book shop while my son went to get a sandwich just down the street. A female walked up to me and demanded I give her money. I told her to leave me alone and she kept it up. Then her boyfriend came and said he was going to hurt me if I didn’t give them money. Needless to say they were not from Ireland. Just as he threatened me my son came back and handed me his sandwich and began to walk towards them. They took one look at his face and ran. What I found most distrubing was not one person helped me. Today I wouldn’t even consider going into Dublin. The worst part of this is that yesterday a teen killed eight students in a school in Canada. I can’t even begin to imagine why and yet it has happened in the states as well. Can you find any true crime or greed acceptable? There was no crime in the Good Gus series.
