Judge

Why do people judge others? In the early centuries people would be judged and then stoned, particularly women. In some countries it is still the same for women today. No one is innocent and, therefore, no one has the right to judge others. I know society has a judge for the final say as to whether a person is guilty or innocent but often they are not always right. In the new show “Matlock” which I enjoy as I find the writing excellent, that is exactly what happened. A woman had been on a jury twenty-two years ago and finally couldn’t bear the guilt as she didn’t believe the man was guilty. The foreman put so much pressure on her that she changed her vote. Finally when the guilt was eating her alive she sought help. Of course, Matty was on the case along with other characters. Olympia from the law office finally convinced the District Attorney to reopen the case. It was then discovered that a three time murderer had committed the crime. The man was set free immediately.I guess what bothers me is that in social media almost on a daily basis, the continual judging, criticizing, accusations, etc. are just not necessary. When they are accussed in return, no one likes it. Doing something wrong  is one thing, but false acusations or making them up is much worse, don’t you agree? I never put anything even similiar to judging in the Good Gus series. The books are designed to have the underlying factor that the difference from right and wrong is important. I hope you will consider one of the books for the child or children in your life. In “Misplaced Trust” you may not be able to help but judge the characters. The worst part about all of the individuals and the stories is that they are all true. Think about downloading it onto your tablet for a reading break.
