Old Soul

Have you ever wondered if you are an old soul? There are many ideas of what that might be. Some theories are that people are reincarnated several times until they get it right. Others believe that they are just individuals who are wise beyond their years, grounded and only care about the real things in life. Many people believe that a person that has an old soul is very inquisitive about anything and everything. However, a person who is smart tends to be that way. Even as children they study anything that might be available. That is one of the reasons I am so happy chldren’s books are coming back again. An inquisitive mind is also a happy mind. Often a person who believes they are an old soul feel like they are an outsider. This also applies again to individuals who read a great deal and study anything new. When they meet a person who is similar, they feel a sense of belonging and a kinship. They also tend to go against the status quo and do not care about the up to date fashion, the latest trends, the latest technology unless they find it interesting. The point being that many individuals are like that including the people referred to as nerds and geeks. We are al probably old souls in some way, don’t you agree? Technically, in the Good Gus series all characters are old souls.
