Messy

How many people do you know who are messy? I like clean and neat and as a result I probably clean three times as much as the average person. I will say, though, my desk is always messy. Being messy seems to be contagious. There are children that grow up with messy parents and follow their lead. Then there are the children whose parents are clean and neat and they are messy. I grew up with a family that kept a messy dining room table. I like it clear for all meals. All they did was push items out of the way. Some families have so much junk on an eating table that they all sit in front of the TV with TV tables and eat. Not the most ideal habit. Eating at the table gives everyone time to discuss their day and how it went.  If you are in front of the TV there is little or no conversation. Plus a clear table is ideal for homework. I once knew a person who was an utter slob. He kept what he called his office a huge mess and even though he had a bureau, in his bedroom, he dumped all his clothes on the floor. The bathroom was just beyond me. There were just no words for it. Do you have messy people in your life? I kept everyone neat in the Good Gus series.
