Coffee

Recently I have been sick. While I was in the hospital I eventually began eating food and drinking coffee. Let me put it bluntly. It was awful, As a coffee drinker since three, there are no words to describe it. Not only was it decafinated, which I am fine with,  but it was just overly brewed. When I was a teen I worked in a hospital as I planned on studying to become a dietician. The chef in the kitchen was top notch. He eventually quit and opened his own small diner. His food was outstanding and there was a woman from Italy who made all the pastries. They were delicious. She had two sons whom she would have been happy if I would have  just married one of them. I was too young in my opinion. One of the reasons that coffee is so popular today is because they have perfected it. They have made all types of flavors that will make anyone try it. Good old fashioned coffee years ago was just that.  In the mornings for me when I was young,  I ate cereal with my grandfather while my grandmother made toast and we all had coffee. Back then a coffee was cheap. Today it could at least buy a loaf of bread, a pound of ground turkey, milk, soda, cheese and even a full chicken. Of course now pricing is going insance. Are you a coffee drinker? There is no coffee in the Good Gus series which has a nice restaurant and sweet shop. The stories are interesting for young children. In “Misplaced Trust,” the characters drank coffee just not in the chapters. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
