Everyone has their own view about anything and everything. However political views are causing a great deal of problems including violence. For example, Jerry Greenfield a co-owner of Ben and Jerry’s quit today. He said that his copany had always stood for justice but the Unilever has silenced him and Ben regarding their views since they took over. He recently stopped refraining from keeping silent and has given his political views on Gaza, Immigration and President Trump. Of course, he isn’t the only person. A woman on the Today show has been fired for her tribute to Charlie Kirk. Her thoughts on the matter were not appreciated. Robinson’s neighbors spoke out against him stating he had a leftist view. “According to a Reuters poll, sixty-three percent of U.S. adults say the way Americans discuss politics contributes “a lot” to encouraging political violence, while thirty-one percent of respondents believe the country’s approach is provoking “a little” uptick. Only five percent believe “not at all.” If people truly believe this then the smart move would be to stop the criticizing and fighting. We all have opinions but it might be better to keep it to ourselves. I know we have freemdom of speech but somehow it is getting out of hand particularly with the violence. What do you think?
