Online Frauds

I joined my high school Facebook only to be confronted at least once a day with online frauds. They claim I have won a varieity of amounts of money but I have to pay an approval fee. If I won then why not give it to me? They literally harass me everyday. They post pictures of disabled children wanting a birthday wish. The second I give it they claim I won. It’s all an online scam. I was part of an online fraud with bookpublisherexpert.com. What is worse is not only did they lie but my bank sided with them. They charged me with companies that do not help publish books. Both companies were in the electronic industry. I am sure I am not the only author this has happend to.  Miss Patty has had online frauds but her bank gave her the money back. The thing is I do not follow anything that might be considered risky or foolish. I don’t have time. I am either writing or working as a parlegal. I do not have free time. Not to mention we have rescue animals who receive attention every day. The online frauds sound appealing but anyone can see they are fake. I have deleted them and told them to leave me alone. The book expect was good. They even had a website with what appeared to be real references. The trouble with the internet is that people can be cheated and sometimes by the time they realize it, it is just too late. I hope this never happens to you. In the Good Gus series there were no computers, no internet and no online fraud. During that era there was actual theft just not in the series. Give it a try in e-book. “Misplaced Trust” did not have online fraud just actual stealing. Check it out in e-book. You will be glad you did.
