Are you sick and tired of deceptive ads? They just don’t seem to end. A product is advertised and you click on it and then it is not even close to the ad. It is an entirely different product. Don’t you just hate all the hype on a product and when you click again it’s a long video. Seriously, the advertisers don’t think seven minutes is too long. I think one minute is too long. Lately insurance rates for autos are advertised extremely low. However, once you choose their ad, they have all types of questions even before your year and make of vehicle and then whatever the low price was it is not even close to their actual price. The old bait and switch just doesn’t work any more. My late husband taught me that when we were first married. He was a genius in sales. He knew the best approaches to use without being a liar and thief. Not many people can say that today. Just look on the internet. The online thieves are literally conning older people out of all of their savings. Just because people are older, experienced and educated doesn’t mean that they won’t fall for a con game. It is truly sad that people find it easy to steal. The deceptive ads make it look as if the older people will increase their monthly income particularly the individuals just scraping by. Then they lose it all. What would you do if it happened to your parent? Part of the reason many people like “MIsplaced Trust” is due to the fact that many of the pitfalls, a few of the cons, and the thefts that occur particularly within families give them a better approach on protecting their parents. However, this does not apply to the son or daughter who will abuse the privilege, don’t you agree? Rather being bored by video games or the TV, try convincng your children to read a Good Gus e-book.
