Men’s Fashion

How did men go from men who dressed with true class with silence and elegence to a generation of slobs? Today’s generation has no structure in their appearance,  or even pride. Now on TV shows men wear sneakers rather than stylish leather shoes. There was a time when men wore tailored suits, and their casual wear were clean lines fitting correctly with confidence. The suits were often tailored perfectly in men’s shops so that they clearly looked professional. Style wasn’t flashy or gaudy It was meant to show a man with style and class. You might even say dashing and sharp. Truthfully men’s fashion displayed their identity in a fine way. It proved that whatever they wore they were definitely a man about town. It is not true today. When baggy pants first came in fashion my late husband was appauled. It gave the appearance of a lazy slob. They also let their hair turn into a mess as well. Their appearance made them look unappealing. In reality, they just didn’t seem to look masculine. Not to mention the pants below their backside. I did not know anyone who found that appealing either other males and certainly any females. Most females felt as if they needed a diaper and were embarassed to be seen with them. How does the world bring men’s fashions back with style and class? Should the males reject the latest trends and remain a snappy dresser? Should they go back to dressing with style and class? What do you think? All the men’s fashions in the Good Gus series were of the time, clean and neat.
