Too Little

Often people complain that others do too little too late.  It’s an old but true saying.  When events occur people tend to avoid helping and if they do it is not enough.  Many marriages end because either person believes that their partner isn’t helping enough around the home, with the children, earning sufficient income, cooking decent meals, etc.  Life is a two way street and when you form a partnership in life it is essential that the two people work together. There are numerous videos on Facebook about men cheating on their wives and then losing everything because they were so busy with their mistresses that they let their wives run everything.  It never occurred to them that the wife would end up with control.  It is also true in the workplace.  Frequently, when two people join forces and start a company it eventually turns one sided. There are also TV shows that reflect this very problem.  However, in many of the programs the one doing all the work eliminates the other person and not in a good way.  Somehow cooperation is no longer required.  People are spending so much time alone either working, or at home sick with COVID and the flu that they have lost the ability to basically be fair. We learned in elementary school that there were rules, to not cheat and do the right thing.  Yet as many people age, those morals and ethics fly out the window.  The biggest point in all Good Gus books is to not do too little and to keep morals and ethics in the forefront of your brain and your life. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment. Digitizing for all the books are available now!  Books one and two are now available on the Tractor Supply website. “Misplaced Trust” will be available this month.
