What comes to mind when you think of corporate greed? Knowing in advance a stock that will rise or fall, CEO’s making millions, companies cheating their employees, and so much more? Sadly all those events are ture. I saw an article about a woman who died in Boston after complications from delivering her baby. She was transferred as the hospital did not have the proper equiment. My question is why not? In Texas a medical company continues to be investigated after one and one half years. The CEO squandered and siphoned over millions basically leaving medical facilites without the proper equipment. Many medical facilites are being closed in both Boston and surrounding cities and various cities in Texas. The money that should have been spent on the actual equipment to save lives is not only gone but will never be recovered. This is not easy to understand the amount of greed over helping people in need. As the cost of insurance is at an all time high, it is unfair and wrong to the people paying and not receiving the appropriate treatment. Just today I have a family member who needs an MRI but cannot receive it. Her insurance, even though she has been paying, was cancelled. This is wrong on so many levels. She now has to move to a new area, in a new state, to obtain the necessary insurance again so that she can be properly treated. Whatever we are all paying for insurance somehow manages to not be enough for the insurance companies. They want our money but they do not wish to pay. A doctor’s office actually said this very thing to me the other day. It is not an easy situation. Corporate greed has been occuring all of our lives. I do not believe it will stop or change do you?
