Politics Without Principles

In the modern world today, we have politics without principles.  The system was never perfect, but now it is out of hand. Frequently, there are news articles about individuals in politics, lying, defrauding, taking bribes, stealing and so much more.  Why?  They are in a good postion making excellent money.  One can only assume it is never enough. Yet it should be. We all pay taxes which are supposed to benefit us and run the governments. Yet, often the money winds up somewhere else.  How many countless people including veterans struggle to hold on every day? Most people in the world today are having difficulties with inflation. For example, I buy a specific brand of bath tissue. The large grocery raised the price twelve dollars or almost fifteen Euros. I refused to buy it from that store and ended up with a much better price for more rolls on e-bay. Now suddenly, the price has dropped back. I am guessing people refused to pay the much higher price. The trouble is that the politicians do make so much money, that they talk about inflation but in reality do nothing. It makes you wonder about politics without principles. It’s not only groceries, look at the price of homes and vehicles. I saw a commercial the other day about a sizeable payment for an SUV. Granted this was a long time ago, but the first home I bought by myself was  back in the day. Do believe that politics without principles should return to truth, fairness and true accountability?
