Expensive

Why is everything so expensive? I saw an article today about people being fed up with high prices and inflation. Now they are continuing to cut back specifically at the grocery. Most people have no opitions. They are changing the way they make purchases and what they purchase. It may have been a few years ago where they had a good steak at home once a week. Now they are lucky if they can afford to buy one  once a month. The price of everything has gone out of control. Coffee in the states at one time was approximately six dollars. Now it is above nine. I buy mine online at a discount so that it is both decaf and organic. When I need items I literally hunt online for the best deals. That could be part of the reason why so many online businesses have increased in sales and ebay is quite popular as well. I suspect that companies are now being left with products that are no longer saleable. There is a great deal of waste of food in the world. Restaurants with a conscience donate their leftovers to food kitchens and shelters. However, it’s not about food any more. Many families can no longer afford to buy their first home. I paid ten thousand five hundred dollars for my first home. The cost of it today is astronomical. Then, however the prices and taxes were reasonable. As we move forward to the elections the debates about money and inflation will be foremost in all speaches and in everyone’s minds. I wonder what the politicians define as expensive? Every day there are videos on Facebook about spoiled rich adults who have no clue about the price of items, nor do they care. The videos never make it clear as to what they do consider is expensive. Everyone knows and understands pricing, but do you have items that you no longer purchase because they are too expensive? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
