Inconsiderate

Whatever happend to having manners and people not behaving in an inconsiderate way? For example, how many times are you at the grocery when someone just leaves their trolley in the middle of the aisle while they look for something? Then there are the people who literally block everything while they are looking. I have changed my way of shopping for food. If an aisle is too crowded, I skip it and move to the next one. If when I am finished and it is still a mess I move on until I can return with less stress. What is  it that makes people think that they can be so inconsiderate?  Our time is just as valuable as theirs. I don’t mind following families down a row as they are spending time together. I think that is important. One time after my daughter took her dog, Bonnie, to the vet she had to go to the grocery. She brought her in and it took three times as long to leave as everyone wanted to pet her and play with her. Let’s never forget the people at the bank who block everyone while standing in line filling out forms so they don’t lose their place. I have seen some ugly confrontations in America over this. When I went to the bank in Ireland you had to pay attention or just lose your place. I always was prepared. The restrooms can often be a nightmare. People cut in front of others as they believe they are more important. I have often wanted to ask them if ‘rude’ was their middle name! One of the worst places for inconsiderate people is the airport. People push, cut in line, bump into you, and make rude comments. Again, my time is just as valuable as yours and you don’t need to be so inconsiderate, don’t you agree? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
