Identity theft is out of control in California. The theives are taking everything from the people who had their homes burned down. How low is that? Stealing from people trying to salvage their lives is beyond obscene. Thieves raiding stores were one thing but this is beyoond comprehension. Who are these people? What makes them believe they have the right to steal from pjeople who lost everything? What is worse is that the insurance companies may pay little or nothing. When I was young kids who stole from other kids were not only caught but punished. Now it seems acceptable. What happened to the manners and morals we grew up with. Of course, now people are not doing anything that is of no use to them. Somehow that is even worse. I have known people who were thieves and frankly steered from them. We had to earn money and pay for our own items. In the home I lived in, I had to pay for my own clothes, shoes, food, shampoo, etc. As soon as I started babysitting it was my job to pay. Today, children do not pay. They expect their parents or other relatives to pay. I frankly think doing chores at home or if you do them outside the home is a good source of learning how to earn money and to pay, don’t you?
