Well here we go again. Looting in Los Angeles is increasing daily. As if the fires weren’t bad enough, now there is even more looting. What is wrong with these people? They are stealing from people whether rich or poor who are in need. Many of these people worked a long time to have a home and in a heartbeat it was destroyed. Plus if that wasn’t bad enough, there have been articles about the insurance companies not paying or not paying the true value of their homes. Many insurance companies, and not just in California have been cancelling home insurances across America. The truth is that the insurance companies are extremely profitable. If you have ever known anyone who has sold insurance, you would be shocked at their commissions. It was bad enough when the looting was happening before the fires. Even then the insurance companies were calling it quits. Many shop owners became more intelligent about their products and removed as much stock as possible from their shelves, increased security and installed cameras to catch the culprits. What I have always failed to understand is that we were all raised to have morals, values, standards and some individuals even went to church. How do they find looting acceptable to their codes of ethics? I am assuming that somewhere along the way they simply lost it. When you think of children playing, the last thoughts you may have are them playing some type of looting game, don’t you agree?
