Working Out

A gym in the UK is not allowing any woman over the age of twenty-four to work out between the hours of four and seven p.m. A thirty-six year old woman complained in an article today and most people agreed with her. Age discrimination is not allowed but the gym owner feels he is allowed to make this rule. I would quit my membership if I was in the gym. Many women, including ladies in their fifties, sixties and seventies perfer the late late afternoon hours. Working out is important for anyone wishing to stay in good health and keep up appearances. Just the walking or doing the treadmill can make a huge difference. If you walk through the grocery, and you are older, how many people do you see standing tall and walking with ease? Not many and in fact there are a number of both men and women using those electronic riders to get around the store. There are women who have started late in life to exercise and working out. I have been working out my whole life. The other day the visiting nurse visited me. It is now the norm to be checked a few times a year for insurance, particularly if you are older. Her face dropped when I explained my at home working out program. She particulary looked at me in shock when I told her I did the mini trampolene every moring for fifteen minutes. What type of routine do you have for working out? In the Good Gus series, all characters worked hard everyday. They did not need a gym. The series is good reading for the young reader and available in e-book form and paperback. “Misplaced Trust” had nothing to do with working out unless you call stealing and cheating a form of exercise. It is readily available in e-book form. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
