The Oldest Child

There was an article today about being the oldest child. I was the oldest child in a family of six. It was not enjoyable. I moved in with them when I was five just in time for shool. I quickly learnd how to make my own lunch every day as there wasn’t a cafeteria. I also learnd that cleaning was part of my routine.  I had to endure whatever stress was happening particularly with the mother. I had an extremely limited childhood. About the only time I could play in the neighborhood was when she wanted me out of the house. Even then they were so prejudice I was often punished for playing with various ethnicities.  I think the worst part of  my childhood were the younger children. They seemed to be my responsibility to take care of them and sometimes even feed them. I learned how to cook when I was three but it was fun with my granmother not a demand or chore.  I think the housework was what I hated the most particularly washing windows. By the time I was eight I did cleaning every Saturday and then I was responsible to pay for anything I wanted including room and board. The woman was strick but what I always hated the release of her parrots. I can’t stand it still to this day. Once I was old enough I had a part-time job for which I had to pay room and board. As soon as I was old enough I found a full time receptionist job and attended night school. I also moved out which they hated me for. Do you know anyone who was the oldest child? The children did chores in Good Gus but only to help out their families. They spent most of their free time playing. Give an e-book a read for the child in your life. “Misplaced Trust” did have the oldest child in many chapters particularly the ones who lied, cheated, and stole due to their greed. An e-book is only a download away. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrust.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
