Lies

Today is the seventy-fifth anniversary of Pinocchio. It seems fitting to write about lies today. Why are lies so popular?People say them everyday and think nothing of it. When I was little I lied and took a package of gum from the grocery. Eventually I was caught and was severely punished. I know lies are prevelant when people commit crimes There are many lies in “Misplaced Trust.” The person in charge, who is the successor trustee, does the most. Some of the beneficiaries try to cheat and steal but they don’t always succeed. When I wrote the book it was all the lies people told me while I was working as a paralegal. I found that the cheating and being so unfair made it wrong and unjust. Yet they did it anyways. Let me give one example. A mother passed who owned a home in Los Angeles County. She left her son in charge which ended up to be cruel to him. He was married and owned a home and had children in Bakersfield. When the son first tried to make repairs his father and his brothers were all drug adicts. They immediately took over the house. The son would come down on the week-ends and rented a dumpster in an effort to clean it out. The following week the whole place would be a mess again. He did this for  a month and then gave up. He ended up selling the house as  which was terrible. The father gave the son his money, sobered up and asked to live with him. The lies and theift from the relatives really cheated her son. Do you think they were fair? In the Good Gus series no one actied this way or told lies. The e-book will brightened a child’s day. Try “MisplacedTrust” e-book as there are many more stories. Visit the site and download an e-book. The books are available in e-book from the sites www.goodgusbooks.com and www.misplacedtrust.com. “Misplaced Trust” has a five-star rating on Amazon. It is about true crime and greed.
