Sense of Humor

Is it my imagination or have many people lost their sense of humor?  Many of the shows and movies are quite dramatic.  There are not even a few lines that we can laugh or even smile at. We need to laugh everyday.  Even many of the new comedians are more political than jokes that are really funny. There are a few who talk about their wives and families.  Others, though, are critical of governments, politicians, etc. when we really don’t need it.  We see all this everyday and it’s not particularly funny. The trouble with the media is that they make fun of others and think it is acceptable and sometimes funny.  It’s not. Good jokes seem to be rare.  When I was younger, people were always looking to tell good, clean, funny jokes.  Now, even on the TV, there are words that are considered swears which I do not care for.  Foul language does not make a joke funny.  It’s just words that do not contribute anything.  Having a good sense of humor is something, I understand, that is included in dating profiles.  At least that is what the shows say on the TV or movies state.  Yet, think about, how often do you hear people laugh.  One of my favorite things is to always to try to make the clients laugh.  Many live alone and appreciate at least my sense of humor.  I might even brighten their day.  The next time you hear a comedian or joke, I hope it will brighten your day.
