The internet has now finally recognized the fake news. They actually give a symbol that describes if the news is real or not. Just today there was an article about Reba McEntire. It cited that she was in terrible trouble, was facing horrific lawsuits and in general her life was a mess and she could go to jail. All lies. What on earth makes these various companies believe that fake news will bring them hgh revenue from ads. People are not that stupid. The real problem is that it is penetrating the political scene around the world. No one should be writing false stories about countries particularly ones that are at war or may go to war. The real truth is bad enough but to exaggerate and lie is just plain wrong. The old fifteen minutes of fame apparently is now more prevalent than ever. Trying to decipher the truth from lies is becoming impossible. Now that there is an election in the United States, the articles are incessant. They are non stop and how can you tell what is real and what is fake. We were all taught to tell the truth. Yet somewhere along the way it stopped being important. Lying is the forte of almost everyone. Of course when people are caught they try to wiesel out of it. Look at any TV show that has some type of crime theme. Whenever they are caught the guilty party blames others, lies, and does anything to claim they are innocent. One of the parts of “The Pretender” that I really like is that he always obtains justice. It is so rare in this world today. There was a group who would fight for the innocents in jail. I haven’t heard about it in awhile so I wonder if it even exists.
