The rising cancer rates particuarly in younger individuals is staggering. I currently know two people battling cancer. One of the main reasons is too much processeed foods. The overeating of fast foods along with processed packaged foods at the grocery are one of the main causes. I personally do not eat processed foods or fast foods. When they first came to Ireland I was in shock. I lived in a small city but in Dublin City Center they have a few a the larger chains. I did go to one once but only for coffee. They do have the large coffee chains but I went to a Burger King. Eating properly needs to return for a way of life. Just today there was an article about samonella in strawberries from other countries that are not organic. People should really take notice of the dirty dozen when it comes to fruits and vegetables. Trader Joe’s has a problem with fifty percent less salt cashews. Fortunately I bought the organic. The point is that we are all busy and most of us work. Not haveing time to make decent meals should not exist. There are so many simple recipes that are healthy and are not complicated. The Food Network does tend to specialize in good foods. There are also recipes online everyday. Many people believe that frying foods is faster and easier. It is not. All this is part of the rising cancer rates. Of course, when you pass by fast food shops you often see huge lines. They also advertise a great deal on the internet and TV. I find the pictures disgusting. It looks too greasy. I started to learn how to cook when I was three and then taught my children at about the same age.
