How often does anyone really reveal their true self? I have seen a very specic video on Facebook that I have watched more than once. It is actually about showing a person’s true self. Let me begin. A nicely dressed woman was seated on an aisle seat and a man in an expensive suit was across from her at a window seat. The stewardess seated a woman that looked poor and disheveled next to the man in the suit. He was furious and demanded that she be sent back to coach. He told the steardess that first class was reserved for quality people not poor homeless individuals. The stewardess verified her ticket and sat her. The man complained and the stewardess told him that her ticket was genuine. Of course, he accused her of forging it, stealing it, etc. The stewardess told him again it was legitimate and to kindly stop. He did not. He told the woman to keep away from him and not touch him. He told the woman she did not deserve to be first class and should go back to whatever hole she lived in. He was truly awful. The nicely dressed woman across the aisle told her to ignore him and spoke kindly to her. The poor woman dropped off to sleep and accidentally touched the sleeve of the nasty man. He completely lost it. He rang for the stewardess and made his demands all over again. Finally, the woman across the aisle asked if she coulkd switch with him and he readily agreeded. The two woman passed the remainder of the flight talking. The nice woman told the poor woman she was on her way to Los Angeles for a job interview. She said it was the type of job she dreamed about and if she was hired it would change her life and her family’s The scene then moves to an office with a well dressed man in a suit and Mr. nasty. The interviewer was waiting for another candidate who, of course, was the nice woman. He spoke to them briefly and then another woman walked in. She was nicely dressed and her hair was immaculate. It was the woman on the plane. Both candidates recognized her immediately and then the interviewer explained. He had set it all up to find out the true self of each canidate to make sure they were making the right choice. Of course, Mr. nasty back peddalled but it was too late. The deserving candidate received the job because she displayed her true self. It’s a nice story isn’t it?
