The Karens

At first when Facebook began referring to the Karens of the world I had no clue as to what they were talking about.  I have since learned.  They are the arrogant females, who are know it alls, and believe they are the only people who have rights and deserve everything.  They think only their opinion is correct and everyone else is wrong.  Well, guess what ladies you are wrong.  We all deserve to be treated with respect yet these women don’t believe that to be true.  I have seen videos on Facebook with the Karens in restaurants.  They act like snobs in restaurants that truly are not upscale.  They are extremely rude to waiters and waitresses.  None of their behavior is necessary.  Plus, they have the no tipping policy.  Whether they realize it or not, most states in America pay a much lower than average wage to the wait staff.  I have always believed in overtipping as the wait staff works really hard to service and do their jobs well.  I have never worked in that field but I have always been amazed at how poorly they are treated when they don’t deserve it.  I saw part of a video today about one of the Karens criticizing a woman who was overweight on a plane.  I truthfully couldn’t take her tone or attitude.  I know they are actors but it was still quite appalling. I think it boils down to people treating each other with respect, don’t you agree? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
