Sense of Responsibility

the special gift  It seems that people no longer have a sense of responsibility.  There are still many kind and wonderful human beings on the planet. However, the number of mass shootings in American is escalating at a rapid rate and these people obviously do not care about anything or anyone but themselves.  People seem to be so full of themselves that no one else matters.  Our daily lives are becoming more complicated with each passing day.  For example, I live in a gated community. This morning the president of the homeowners association discovered that a car smashed into the rear exterior wall and damaged several cement blocks. This person did not take any responsibility for their actions.  Now the association will have to pay for the repairs. There is a man in this community who literally has no sense of responsibility.  He acts as if he he is charge and is constantly causing problems.  His only thoughts are about him being president again. He is a full blown narcissist who cannot let go of anything ever. Anyone who is to blame for a hit and run is the type of person, again, who only thinks of themselves.  There are even individuals who have accidently hit an animal in the road and left it there to suffer.  No matter what anyone says, it’s wrong and irresponsible.  One of the main characteristics of all my books is an underlying theme of every single character having a sense of responsibility. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment. Digitizing for all the books will be ready next week! Please consider adding “The Special Gift” as a new Christmas tradition.
