Often most people have no clue about what to do about anything which includes problems, family issues, being hurt, lied to, gossiped about, financial issues, health issues, etc. Most of the time people panic. Then they continually repeat, “I don’t know what to do.” They are scared, afraid, think they will make the wrong decision or choices and cannot face reality. The first thought on anyone’s mind should be facing whatever the issue or problem might be. Then, once they face reality, think about what options are available. Most people overreact and become so emotional that they end up making everything worse. They also go to the wrong people for advice such as friends or acquaintances who may not understand or have the experience to help them. Unfortunately, logic doesn’t always enter their brains which is not helpful. For example, a person has a personal issue with a family member or a friend. Rather than seek out advice from an experienced person, they ask the wrong people and everything falls apart. Part of the issue may be that the person they are asking may have their own opinions such as disliking the problem person and therefore their advice will be bad. This is true when people have tax issues. They ask everyone except a qualified CPA. When seeking advice, people with knowledge are always best. The continual worry about their problem is useless. Logic is a good start, not to mention researching the issue. There may be solutions that a person never realized existed. Do you know anyone who acts this way?
