Sarcastic

Many individuals prentend to speak nicely while in reality they are sarcastic. Often people do not realize sarcasism because they tend to believe others are being polite or nice. There are individuals who think it is funny to be sarcastic.  I don’t care for it.  If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. That is still appicable today yet they find it exhilarating.  We all grew up being taught manners and treating each other with respect.  It is an old term that amost seems unapplicable any more. I remember my stepson being paddled in school in Texas for acting disrespectful in shop class and ignoring his teacher. I was shocked because paddling did not exist in school in Ireland or in the northeast where I attended school. I know many years ago in parochial school, the nuns used a ruler on a student’s hand if they misbehaved. That was before my time. Children were also hit with the ruler if they did not use their right hand. I knew a woman who was married to my neighbor’s stepson and she told me.  Using a left hand is normal and a child should not have been hurt for it.  Mocking people for any reason should never be tolerated. Everyone has their own opinion and no one should be taunted or criticized because another person doesn’t like it.  How do you feel about sarcasim?
