Dieting is popular now as summer approaches most of the planet. Everyone wants to look perfect for the beach, wearing shorts, sundresses, etc. The worst part of dieting is adjusting to less food. There are so many reasons people overeat. It starts with late night snacking. You think you are hungry when you just might sleep better without that food in your stomach. There is also the craving of sugar. It is a difficult desire to stop. So many foods contain sugar, how do you resist? I find an apple, a few strawberries or blueberries will easily do the trick. Plus it fills your stomach. Sometimes people eat because they are bored. Stress is another factor. I cannot stand to eat if I am under stress. What makes it all so difficut is that there are billboards, signs, and commercials trying to tempt you to buy their products. Winning the weightloss game is not an easy task. The temptations are often too great. One thing no one ever tells you is that you have to reset your mind. Manifestations are on all types of ads on YouTube, but where are the ones to reprogram you mind about eating. Trying to fix your mind into changing your eating habits takes work. It is not an easy task but is achievable. The smart move is to set a small goal the first few days and gradually increase it. For example, suppose you see an ad or commercial for a chocolate bar, what do you do? You really want it but all you can think about is losing weight. How do you stop it? What if you bought a candy bar and only ate one piece. Then drank juice, water, or an energy drink to stop your craving. It could work and it is worth a try. What is your opinion? In the Good Gus series dieting wasn’t necessary. All the food was home grown and homemade. As the weather improves and the kids are outside more, one of the Good Gus stories might just be the new relaxing method before the kids go to sleep.
