Quietly Quitting

Quietly quitting is a new phase in the employment area particularly in the United States. They are simply leaving work with or without notice.  There is no fanfare as in the past where the workmates wished them well.  Many no longer want to commute to work and have found work at home jobs. Others have simply decided to change fields.  There are the people who have also decided to start their own business. There are so many ads on Facebook about starting your own business, courses to teach you how to be coaches, write your own courses and even day trading.  Seriously, there is a variety of opportunity.  Choosing the right one is a task.  Plus, people need to realize that all of these programs have a fee attached.  The ads claiming you will make large sums on money on a daily or weekly basis are probably not true.  My late husband still receives mail for a scheme for mailing out to other people to make money. If it didn’t work for him, how is it working for these people?  It is time consuming and costly.  I doubt that it delivers the results they are seeking.  The trouble with many of these get rich quick schemes is that the person selling them is making a fortune while the people making the purchases are not.  Plus, whatever is popular now people are purchasing.  No one was quietly quitting in the God Gus series as they all needed to run their businesses. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment. Misplaced Trust” is a book you need to read to better understand the importance of protecting your assets for your heirs.  It is available by emailing me at maecharles2008@gmail.com.  Upon receipt of payment of $3.97 you will immediately receive directions to download your copy.
