Generation Gap

The generation gap between older and younger women is astonishing. When we were young if an event occurred we didn’t rush to our landline to tell everyone. Today, the younger generation is on their phone blasting it out everywhere.  Why?What is so important that all your friends, followers, strangers and anyone and everyone else need to know it?  If it was a fire, a shooting, a severe earthquake, or melting snow that is flooding, those events are important. Now it is whatever is happening which could be completely boring. Whatever happened to keeping it to yourself and then confiding in a close personal friend or relative? The worst part about all this is that negative actions, cruelty, and harm are exposed to the world. Is it possible that mind your own business doesn’t exist anymore? Of course, crying for everyone on the internet isn’t any better. Making sure everyone knows where they are every minute of the day seems ludicrous to me. I am sure they want some type of privacy but it just doesn’t appear important to them. The selfies are everywhere. Although when I arrived to visit my daughter, she took a selfie saying she found some chick walking along the highway and thought she might give her a ride. People who know me thought it was quite funny. I hope the younger generation truly begins to appreciate the older generation and fill in the generation gap.
