Mom Shamers

Lately the mom shamers are out in droves and all over the internet.  Why don’t they have a life?  It is really none of their business how other women raise their children.  If a person disagrees about discipline, attire, gaming, friends, etc. it is still the parents’ responsibiity.  Some of the celebrities are posting pictures of their children just from the harrassment of the mom shamers.  Why are they so desperate to see them?  I can’t help but wonder if they are comparing their own children to theirs.  Children should be able to grow up happy and free. There are so many rules and regulations that they should at least start out as an actual child.  They shouldn’t be wearing made up, dressed like they are twenty, hairstyles that are for teens, etc.  A child should still just be a child. The trouble with most people is that they simply do not mind their own business. Many adults blame their failures on their parents as it is fashionable.  Yet I have to wonder how they would feel if their child or children blame them in the future.  Mom shamers are not just the celebrities.  Regular everyday families do the exact same thing.  Often an adult child will begin to tear down their parents, particuarly the mother, once they have their own child.  How is it that they think they will do a better job?  As parents we do the best we can. We try to give our children a good happy life and a nice home. The families that can’t afford the best still try to do whatever it takes to give their child or children a good life.  I saw an article today and have seen others previously about individuals who are leaving Hollywood with their families.  They are hoping for a better life for their children as the crime increases on a daily basis. How do you feel about the mom shamers? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
