Commitments

People frequently speak about commitments but they never stick to them. Part of the reason the divorce rate is so high is because people do not take their marriage vows seriously and therefore when the going gets tough they get going. Most people  believe that it just doesn’t  matter.  They frequently think that if their feelings are hurt the commitment is no longer valid.  The thing is we get our feelings hurt almost everyday and we ignore it.  This is also true in the workplace.  People commit to projects and then if a better offer comes along they leave.  The company has to start again to find a new person and finish the project. It almost comes down to being not even considering to being fair to others. Of course, many of the Hollywood celebrities barely understand marriage vows and holding it together.   Stop and think.  How many people do you know make a commitment and stick to it?  This is also true with debt. Many countries have high debt.  I know a person who has filed for bankruptcy twice and the third is just around the corner.  He is fine with filing and then getting into debt all over again.  No one should take a chance on him.  There are too many people who end up in trouble, through no fault of their own, and they work to restore their credit and try to pay off their debts.
