Cruel

Why do people treat each other so badly and are cruel to one another?  Are they so miserable in their lives that they take it out on others?  Take a look at the crime rate. It continues to increase with no end in sight. Frequently I see videos  on Facebook of people ignoring others in need.  They are often people in wheelchairs, looking for food or just an older person having a difficult time.  Of course, the videos show a person assisting. I saw a woman in a wheelchair who was stuck at the top of some stairs. People passed her by until one woman stopped to help. Her date, boyfriend or husband was annoyed. However, she lifted the woman out of her chair and brought it down the long stairs. Then she picked the woman’s wheelchair nd carried it down the stairs. Then ,she situated her in her wheelchair. It was a kind act. Treating others with respect and not being cruel should be a priority in everyone’s life. Of course, if you really examine the bully, he or she needs to be in control. They need to be unkind to others, insult them, belittle them and more just so they feel superior and are in control. Many issues when you look at it are about people wanting to be in control. It is just not a narcissist trait; it also affects people who feel badly about themselves and inferior. The trouble with both the bully and the narcissist is that they need to control their victims. It is almost a compulsion. If you look at any of the articles on the news, people being cruel has top billing. They are individuals who want to hurt others and feel like they are the king or queen of the hill when actually it is more like they are the king or queen of the dump, don’t you agree?
