Actions speak louder than words. Often the words mean nothing because the actions speak for themselves. When people delay, procrastinate, or are indecisive, things generally go awry. Then people complain. They talk and talk but it doesn’t solve anything. For example, there are individuals who constantly claim they perform acts of kindness. Yet, how often does anyone see these fine displays. That is because it is nothing but meaningless words. Frequently I see videos on Facebook where a person may be in trouble, homeless begging for food, stuck with a flat tire and more. Yet people pass by and only the individuals who really and truly have a good heart stop and give assistance. Many people complain about the homeless. I have even read articles that several individuals are mean and like their life style. If they like it so much why do they try to hurt the people trying to assist them? The world is difficult to understand. Yesterday I wrote about just a few individuals who took the necessary steps to assist animals in need. A prime example is when a person has an allergic reaction to a food or medication. Swift thinking and action is immediately necessary to save their life. They may need a needle or be taken to the emergency room. I once had a severe reaction to a medication. I called my late husband who only worked five minutes away. He rushed home and took me the doctor’s. By the time we arrived, I had already passed out. The point being is that rather talk about it, discuss it, etc. they took action and helped. Thinking quickly and making the right decisions have saved many lives with swift actions. It occurred during wars, and in present day with accidents, fires, and other emergency situations. Many of the TV shows revolve around taking the right steps and correct decisions to save lives. Have you ever been in that type of instant decision situation and had to take the appropriate measures?
