Too Much Fighting

Lately there is just too much fighting.  Countries are attacking each other, people are hurting others, threats are looming and a great deal more.  It is really not necessary. It needs to stop. When the Miss America contestants asked for world peace little did they know how much the world would change. There is so much anger that people cannot control themselves.  They lose their tempers so quickly that self control doesn’t seem to exist. The worst part is that most people have no regrets about it either.  Whether you are watching a new or old TV show, it is always the same.  Conversation and resolution seems to be disappearing.  It is just so unnecessary. Everyday on Facebook there are videos about people fighting and arguing.  They are frequently stealing and are extremely unkind. As the holidays approach, there should be positive videos.  The stores are already offering Black Friday deals ahead of schedule.  I expect that the sales are off.  At one time people would wait at an early hour to rush stores when they opened on Black Friday.  Even then, there was just too much fighting. I was never interested in waiting in lines, being pushed and shoved for a good deal.  If you paid attention, you could get a good deal.  Now that online shopping is so popular, it is easier and less of a problem. Where does it all end? Even families cannot stop. In my book, “Misplaced Trust” I pointed out that for years families had happy memories but then when the money came into play everything changed. Over the years I could never understand why but I guess it is all about greed. The truth is that when this occurs as it has been lately, it is difficult to handle.  The families don’t care, and the meanness just follows.  More than once I have blocked clients.  I guess most people have never experienced too much fighting in the workplace.  How do you feel about it? The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
