Private

I find it appalling that whatever occurs between a man and a woman is no longer private.  It’s all about being noticed on social media. How can you have a relationship, be married, or even be partners wondering all the time if your personal and private thoughts will be exposed? How can you confide or even be intimate knowing that one day it will be splashed over the intrnet and gossip magazines? The lack of respect for individuals should not exist.  Whatever type of relationship you have with a person should remain private.  It seems to me that the more the celebrities in particular promote themselves the more they expose what type of people they really are. Plus is this really necessary just to get more publicity and noticed? I don’t think so. How can you have a true relationship if you aren’t one hundred perent sure your true feelings, mistakes, and words are not passed on to someone else?  One of the reasons I have always hated gossip is because people speak out of turn and often it is not the truth. They seem to have some perverse joy in spreading vicious lies and falsehoods. Most religions tell their constitutents that lying is wrong. Yet no one listens. I learned early on about not lying and still don’t like people who do it today. If you trust someone with your heart and confidences, then those individuals should respect it and you.  That is the whole point of keeping something private, don’t you agree?
