Power of Praise

Many people do not realize that the power of praise can change people, a moment, or even an event.  It is built into human psychology.  From the time we are children we rely on positive reinforcement.  It helps us succeed in a variety of ways.  Even as adults in the workplace, it automatically gives us that little extra to do a good job.  It is also important in business whether retail or online.  Positive reviews enhance sales.  No one wants to do business with a loser.  When people look at products, before they even consider a purchase they look online for the comments.  Many companies are smart and hide the negative ones, but there are others who haven’t quite mastered that skill yet. For example, a company may be selling a particular product such as a beauty serum that will claim to remove all wrinkles instantly.  Instead of seeing the real comments about the serum, they sellers are careful and delete anything negative.  If you want to find the real truth you have to research the real reviews.  Amazon has real reviews.  Many companies like their reviews as they are genuine and with the power of praise their sales increase dramatically.  If you read reviews carefully, you may find that the product is good but the reviewer didn’t like the odor, texture, packaging or the results were too slow.  In the Good Gus series the power of praise is in all stories.  It gives the young reader the positive feelings they are seeking from reading. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones. Hard copies, personally autographed, are available through our website www.goodgusbooks.com along with past blogs for your reading enjoyment.
